An Arts and Crafts Yorkshire School traditional Welsh Dresser by Peter 'Rabbitman' Heap Mouseman apprentice and craftsman made in around 1970. The item features his signature carved rabbit, traditional pegged joints, adzed surface and is made from solid oak.

Its exactly the same piece that he would have created at Kilburn when working for Robert Thompson, the only difference being a carved Rabbit instead of a Mouse, that and of course the price, an identical Mouseman Dresser would be around £6-7k.

The dresser is 176cm high and 122cm wide, the lower dresser is 46cm deep.

This Welsh Dresser has been used since it was purchased direct from the workshop at Wetwang c. 1970. It is in beautiful condition
