A local Northumberland street scene by Northumbrian artist John Falconer Slater (1857-1937) This is a very interesting street scene of old houses and possibly in a coastal setting. His work is widely collected and sought after, born in Newcastle Slater exhibited prolifically in his local area, as well as London and Scotland and further afield. 

This is an original, signed, oil on canvas, and unusually framed as its behind glass, which could be removed if required.
